Who we are
Wacel (Wacel.ai) is a cloud service from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, that helps businesses receive customer orders over WhatsApp. For any privacy question, contact us at hello@wacel.ai.
Data we collect on the website
When you submit the demo request form we collect: your name, business name, business type, mobile number and city. We use them only to contact you about your request.
Data we process for merchants
We process WhatsApp conversations and orders between a merchant and their customers on the merchant's behalf only, and only to take and deliver their orders to their team. We do not use this data for any other purpose.
Roles: controller and processor
For customer data received through WhatsApp, the merchant is the data controller, and Wacel processes that data on the merchant's behalf and under their instructions only. For the demo request form on this website, Wacel is the data controller.
Cookies and analytics
This website uses no tracking cookies and no analytics tools. We rely only on essential browser storage when needed to run the page and session.
Service providers
We rely on the WhatsApp Business Platform (Meta), AI model providers, and cloud hosting. They receive data only to the extent needed to provide the service.
Retention and deletion
We keep data as long as needed to provide the service. You can request deletion of your data at any time and we will act on it.
Your rights under the PDPL
Under Saudi Arabia's Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), you have the right to access, correct and request deletion of your data. To exercise these rights, email us at hello@wacel.ai.
